Later this year, the Lab will be upgrading the central recycling stations in our buildings, to:
- Simplify sorting for the Lab community
- Help ensure waste ends up in the right place
- Reduce labor for our hardworking custodial team
- Keep our spaces clean and organized
What’s the upgrade?
- Streamlined recycling – paper and “other” recycling will all go into one “Mixed Recycling” bin
- Standardized configurations to keep things simple and consistent
- Upgraded signage in sturdy sign-holders for clear messaging and tidy stations
- QR codes on all signs for questions / feedback via WasteGuide.lbl.gov
